Versace’s Ultimate Luxury: Designer Private Jet Interiors

DALLAS, Apr 5, 2006/ FW/ --- A first in the aviation industry, with the House of Versace trailblazing once again, Gianni Versace SpA and TAG Group SA announced yesterday that they have signed a Letter of Intent to to collaborate on the design and manufacture of exclusive interiors for prestigious private jets such as the Bombardier Global Express or Boeing BBJ.

According to the agreement, TAG Group SA clients can choose to work with Versace Designers on the personalization of the interiors of their aircrafts with pieces from the Versace Home lines, adapted to follow aviation interiors and guidelines.

“Versace is not just about fashion, but about luxury in every aspect of life. This agreement has been made with the desire to respect the DNA of this company, which truly represents Italian Luxury Style,” commented Giancarlo Di Risio, CEO of the Versace Group in a statement.

The House of Versace is well known for being a pathfinder in the fashion industry. It was the first fashion group to launch a complete collection for the Home and to open a branded hotel.

Versace With its collaboration with TAG Group SA, Versace will also be the first Maison to translate its philosophy of exclusive luxury, glamour and style to the private aviation business.

Per the Letter of Intent, the Versace Group and its designers will therefore be responsible for all aspects of content, design and style while the TAG Group, with its 30-year experience as world leader in the preparation and management of large private jets, will guarantee all logistical and technical aspects.

The first interiors concept for ‘Versace’ jets will be presented at the Farnborough Air Show in the UK, mid July 2006.
