LOS ANGELES, Apr 22, 2006/ FW/ --- Mega movie star Tom Cruise seems to be surrounded by kids nowadays. Recently a new father of Suri, a 7 lb. 7 oz. baby girl with Katie Holmes, the Mission Impossible III star visited with TEENick viewers last April 5, 2006 in San Pedro, California.
The visit was part of a TEENick segment taped in front of a live audience, wherein Tom Cruise made a spectacular entrance in a helicopter as part of the promotion of his upcomig movie, Mission Impossible III.
The superstar was then joined by legendary Mission Impossible III stunt coordinator Vic Armstrong who talked about and then demonstrated how to safely perform a stunt where he flips his car at the end of a heated chase scene.
Kids also have the opportunity to get up-close and personal with Cruise and ask him questions like: "When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?" (an actor or an astronaut); "Who is your favorite athlete?" (Mohammad Ali) and "What is your fondest childhood memory?" (traveling).
TEENick is Nickelodeon's popular tween program and the segment with Tom Cruise will premiere Saturday, April 29 between 8:00-10:00PM and Sunday, April 30 from 6:00-9:00PM.
