Versace LOS ANGELES, Oct 27, 2006/ FW/ --- ‘Catch A Fire’ the political movie thriller slated to hit movie theaters just in time for the Oscar season premiered last night in Los Angeles with its lead actor, Tim Robbins wearing a Versace two-button dark blue striped suit with a white cotton shirt and turquoise silk floral tie.

Based on the real life story of South African hero Patrick Chamusso’s (played by Derek Luke) journey to freedom, the movie was set in the country’s turbulent and divided times of the 1980s.

Tim Robbins plays the role of police Colonel Nic Vos. The shrewd and charismatic Vos strives to maintain order in volatile situations, which have become more frequent as the outlawed activist organization African National Congress (ANC) rallies blacks against apartheid.

Chamusso and Vos, though they live their lives apart share a common trait – love for their respective families. Their paths cross when Chamusso, who was very apolitical was suspected of sabotage of the Secunda oil refinery.

‘Catch A Fire’ is a powerful drama that echoes today’s headlines.
