Alan Truong: Color My World

wardrobe, then Alan Truong's Fall 2001 collection is the one for you.
A new designer making his debut at the "big tent" this season, Alan Truong caught
the media and retail buyers attention with his very fashion-forward sportswear for men.
Disregarding the military trend that was going since the Milan Menswear show, Alan Truong
came up with a very elegant and luxurious collection for both the uptown and downtown sets.
Starting with an almost conservative long coat, the show progressed to a colorful men's wardrobe with
colors ranging from yellow, lavender and magenta.
Catching my attention was a black knitted cashmere dickie that looked like a sleeves shirt from the front, but
when the model turned, only his long hair was covering his back. Very ingenious upated for the dicky.
With this collection, the saying, "Color me beautiful" now also applies to men.
