Parson's graduate Andrew Urbain made his debut at the tents in Bryant Park
during the New York Fall 2001 season.
An accomplished tailor and master cutter, Andrew Urbain started with eveningwear
as the main fare of his collections. He has expanded his line to include cocktail and event wear,
plus day and business wear.
With an eye for detail, the designer creates intricate beading and uses crystals
in most of his designs, giving it a couture feel, though it is definitely ready-to-wear.
Clothes which are elegant and sexy at the same time, Andrew Urbain is definitely one of
the names to watch among New York's crop of young designers.
His clothes have been featured in Sex & the City, and in People Magazine.
