Antonio Miro Antonio Miro started his career in fashion during the 1970s when he established a shop called Groc, an unconventional fashion store, which catered to innovative and intellectual clientele.

In 1986, together with Fernando Zallo and Ignacio Mallet, Antonio Miro launched the design house that bears his name with the purpose of creating a lifestyle brand based on his innovative designs.

His great influences include his home city, Barcelona, the Mediterranean, art and music - all of these things that are close to his heart.

Sober and simple designs with special attention given to details are Antonio Miro’s signature trademarks when it comes to his creations.

His work has been recognized several times, winning the 1987 Cristobal Balenciaga Award for Best Spanish Designer, the 2002 Antonio Gaudi Medal for his exemplary work in the fashion industry and the 2002 Best Men’s Designer of the Year by GQ.

He is very involved with his community, designing the complete wardrobe of the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games and designing the curtains of the Grand Teatre del Liceu (Barcelona) in 1997.

Antonio Miro shows his menswear collection in Paris and his womenswear collection in Madrid.
