MILAN, Sep 29, 2004/ FW/ – At times going back to ones roots, actually allows one to move
forward, and it is exactly this basic and essential concept that Bally adopts for their 2005
spring summer collection.
Inspired by their Swiss heritage of natural awareness, Bally continues to fuse nature,
both as inspiration and concept, as environmental importance with modern technology.
Since 1851 the luxury goods company has constantly moved forward in leaps and bounds in areas
both of science and natural studies.
Luxury basics such as nappa, lambskin and cashmere are washed and wax treated in order to
add texture, making jumpsuits, bags and shoes among others, essential not only in slick
and multifunctional in design, but both touch and feel must haves this coming sunny season.
While Luca Ragonese keeps tradition in mind by re-working the Bally family crest onto
colorful t-shirts, Jonny Coca takes natures charm and transforms it into harmonized
accessories, recalling the ocean, autumn leaves and the heat of summer beach bonfires.
Magnificent comfort and precise construction are ingeniously part of this exquisite
collection that goes beyond the unconventional and invites awareness and celebration
of our stunning surroundings and Mother Nature’s goodness and wrath.
