PARIS, Mar 3, 2005/ FW/ --- Cacharel presented a Fall/Winter collection replete with multi-colour printed fabrics. That’s right, multi-colours are the new prints according to the French house.
The dresses, tops, and jackets were drenched in colours created with wild excitement and abandon. The pieces were intermixed with dark solids as to give an element of cohesion ease to the silhouettes.
One dress done in charcoal grey has horizontal stripes in colours towards its bottom. Thanks to the way the stripes are placed, the dress actually looks more like a dazzling two-piece ensemble.
Other pieces have pleated and micro-pleated fabrics. A skirt in multi-coloured prints has intermixed tiers, while another dress is in multicoloured horizontal strips with an underlining pleated tier at its bottom.
A short-cropped jacket in black silk has a large collar that drops just below the shoulder blades for a touch of excitement.
As for the accessories, the house created fringed boots in diverse and deep colours.
However, it is unmistakeably the stylish hats that are among the best seen this season. Created by Victoria Grant for Cacharel, these are pinned and stack on to the side of the forehead ŕ la Anna Piaggi!
Definitely something that the Echo Boomers, generally known as Gen Y will love this coming fall!
