PARIS, Oct 6, 2005/ FW/ --- Welcome to the Cacharel ‘Love Shack’ where platform lace up shoes have embroided heels and the tropical meets the metropolis for spring summer 2006.
Pleated little summer dresses set the scene for a light and energetic collection of eclectic floral prints and sunny disposition.
Little jackets are tailored and neat like the pleated skirts with hemlines that dance just above the knee in a wardrobe fit for all little girls at heart that love to play dress up by mixing and matching prints and patterns freely.
Ropes hold lapels and flat fronted capri trousers closed, reminiscing a summer boat trip to far off exotic lands like Polynesia, full of color and new sounds to match with a classic crisp white shirt and straw hat.
Drawstrings and ties, tiers and ruffles are details rather than a girly abundance as Clements Ribiero concentrates on lines and neatness.
Knit is minimal yet with the same intensity as V-neck sweaters and halter tops with vivid designs and banded waists sit perfectly on hips.
As the final run of dresses that play with the empire line appears there is something different about this tropical collection, the bra is emphasized and exposed, large and sitting high like those of the fifties.
Embroided and sparkling filled with curious creatures, The Cacharel collection is like polka dots mixed with stripes, its hard to get away with, but when you are able to turn heads for the right reason, the obscure becomes the stylish delightful.
