MILAN, Feb 21, 2005/ FW/ – Extravagance and fantasy comes from the East as ‘Contemporary Czarina’ is blown in on an Eastern wind for Just Cavalli’s autumn winter 2005/06 collection.
She is a modern day matrioska, dressed in decadent denim and fur divine. Roberto Cavalli who will later this evening have cocktails with his guests in the newly opened Just Cavalli boutique in Via Della Spiga, here in Milan, takes Russian military winter elegance and projects it into 2006.
On a wild and windy snowy day, tradition is celebrated and a magical dreamland becomes a new era in Just Cavalli urban contemporary chic.
She wears embellished jeans, embroided with gold and silver, crystals and pearls, while little jackets have been cropped high to accentuate the upper torso and high waisted tulip skirts of wool, tweed and tapestry enhance waistlines and feminine curves.
New for Just Cavalli is the empire line. Voluminous and innocently sexy, Roberto Cavalli tailors the cut into tops and little dresses for a season that is all about desire and imagination.
The new rich are luxurious in fur and silk as mink and fox line and trim overcoats for extra warmth to a wardrobe of silver, blues, grays, reds, purples and greens.
Old traditional coins are fastened to belts, bags and jackets that are often double breasted and military conquistador in style, leaving sensuality to ooze from the tight bodices and necklines.
Just Cavalli is a collection for the light hearted and inspired eclectic lady who desires something dazzling for her insatiable wishes of a wardrobe made up of assorted tastes and timelines.
