MILAN, Jan 23, 2005/ FW/ – When Ennio Capasa decides to have a party, it isn’t just any party. Though perhaps that is because his young easy chic line C’N’C isn’t just any line.
In an ex industrial space towards the outskirts of Milan in a semi abandoned warehouse, lights shone, music played and dancers moved on a moon like stage celebrating love. Guests sipped red vodka drinks and swayed to DJ haunted vigor.
Overlapping and mixing the traditional with the futuristic, in a dress up and dress down fashion, Capasa multi layers garments with as much ease as the flow of dance. From georgette dresses to vintage jeans, deconstructed jackets and a houndstooth overcoat, this is a collection for the free spirited and streetwise energetic.
Luxury sprouts of leather and fake furs become essentials in choreographer Stephen Galloway’s boulevard of love, whether ‘easy like Sunday morning’, ‘difficult’ or in the dramatic and simplistic realization that ‘love is everything’.
In a palette of contemporary modernity from red to green and street navy, C’N’C is not only technical, fresh and young, but dynamic and non seasonal as Capasa creates a look for the new generation completely in tune with the sounds of daily urbanity.
