Dirk Bikkembergs Menswear Fall 2007: Fast Cars and Bogey-Free Greens
Milan Menswear Show Fall 2007

Dirk Bikkembergs MILAN, Jan 18, 2007/ FW/ --- After spending time at the gym then playing soccer at the World Cup, the Dirk Bikkembergs gent is now ready to tackle NASCAR and Formula 1, then join Tiger Woods at the Masters Golf Tournament.

And like the sports that inspired the collection, Dirk Bikkembergs also did not give any concession or condition except for it to reach perfection. Like the form fitting beige leather pants and jacket, quilted at the right places both for style and function.

The same goes true in every piece in the collection from the double-breasted winter jacket with a fur collar to the blue long sleeved shirt cut just right to show off a man’s torso. Not tight or loose, it’s just a perfect fit.

Giving a nod to the military trend knitted bomber zipped in front is reminiscent of what the Navy Seals wear, while brown camouflage tees and camouflage gym bag looked like it was inspired by today’s headlines.

If Valentino who showed just an hour before him dressed up the archetypal gentleman, Dirk Bikkembergs put front and center the quintessential sportsman.
