DSquared²: Partying With Christina Aguilera

MILAN Jun 29, 2004/ FW – Now, when isn’t it time to party with the D Squared boys? House Musik contended the Beastie Boys at ‘Dicks Stag’ this morning in Milan at the most envied pad in the city.

While the crowd milled under the already scorching sun, Italian press asked the perplexing question as to ‘just what is a stag?’ Within half an hour their question was answered, it is quite simply a party.

Though not just any party, it’s the one you die to get an invitation for, call and leave phone messages to be out on the list for and its where you dress according to the days role play, whether it be poolside lounger or bedroom whore.

Denim and neat tailored jackets in an aura of sunset yellows, oranges and pinks sizzled down the runway one by one as Dean and Dan’s call boys left the couch, put down their drink and stubbed out their cigarettes.

Hippy chic as denim and cotton are embroidered all the while matched with slim trousers to give the D Squared man for summer 2005 the saucily sexy silhouette he desires. The twins call is ‘real fashion’ and it is about freedom to mix styles, take urban street wear and put it together with a tailored classic, reinvent the tuxedo into a hot fudge dream and board a plane for a beachside location somewhere in the Caribbean.

Super jocks to superstars, dudes to disco, and then there she was; the princess of teen pop aggressive sex, Christina. With stylish boys lining the backdrop and lingering on the runway the backdoors opened and just as it was time to get ‘Dirty’ as savvy Miss Aguilera danced down the runway.

Its time to party, get back to basics and like all wonderful cocktails, the secret is in the mix.
