ES by Sadaharu Hoshino PARIS, Mar 7, 2005/ FW/ --- Opening the official calendar of the Fall 2005 Pręt-a-porter season last week, Sadaharu Hoshino is becoming a name to watch in the Paris fashion scene.

Specializing in street wear, the Central St. Martin’s grad is gaining a cult following with his very creative approach of his artful urban clothes that is surprisingly very wearable.

Pencil thin pants with very low crotch that can be worn either as outerwear or as thermal underwear during the cold winter nights will be a favorite among teens and tweens due to its double duty function.

The aviator jacket was deconstructed and reconstructed as a double collar ensemble of leather and shearling, keeping the long sleeves for warmth, but the bodice unfinished for style.

Using draping, velvet became rich with sheer on skirts and dolman sleeve top, cinched at the waist.

And from the schoolgirl uniform, pleated minis were paired with another reworking of the aviator jacket.

Accessory of choice are military boots that was worn with everything from skirts to pants, including a formal suit jacket, i.e., if someone wants to apply for a job or wear it to the office.

Making a stab at androgyny, Sadaharu Hoshino also sent male models on the runway, wearing jogging pants that was cut just below the knee and then continued on to a sheered hemline.
