MILAN, Jun 26, 2003 /FW/ --- Spotlights were on Oscar winner Adrien Brody, special
guest at the Fendi Spring Summer 2004 men's collection.
A mix of square dancing straw hats, rock music, hints from the 1950's and golfing gloves.
Silvia Venturini Fendi designs a neat, clean cut collection, that moulds to the male shape.
Micro shorts in chocolate crocodile with suede grey shirt and vice versa.
Gold is threaded into knit and worn over linen, cotton and canvas pants.
Tanks in net like appearance with tailored jackets, also the three external pocket jackets
are crisp and clean.
Shirts in suede have piping and ties are often slung around the neck rather than worn
knotted at the adams apple.
Accessories of beautiful bags and shoes is only to be expected from the Roman maison and
there is simply no mistake in their perfection.
A youthful feel in the reworking of pastel tuxedos in satin and daring transparency
for shirts and t-shirts often worn double and over one another in different colours create
a segment of a painters colour wheel.
Tailored pants in linen mix are finished off
with mini satin cumberbuns and matching lateral strips down the side of the leg.
Beige, grey, white, cream, turquoise and pastels, light and easy but elegant in its
minimalism where often less is more and the highest quality fabrics, leathers and skins
are a top priority.
