MILAN, Sep 29, 2004/ FW/ --- Set in an ice skating ring, the show started as models lay asleep on a gorgeous canopy bed with chiffon drapes.
As the models awoke with flawless make up from a long night, they sauntered around the rose pedal filled runway in grand style. Wearing only slippers on their feet, the beauties were in silk nightgowns with dragonfly prints on knickers and tops.
Pyjama pants and corseted bras in peach, grey and beige illuminated the elegant bed head pre teens. Light weight scarves accompanied male trousers with suspenders. Soft pink jam baggy pants in white and black were teamed with sleeveless tuxedo shirts.
Accessories included black veils, hats and lightweight scarves. Dragon fly necklaces and clasp on tops kept the theme ongoing.
The collection took a turn to a more militias theme by showcasing jump suits and sailor jackets adorned with medals in white and khaki.
This 20’s back from war theme took strides also with classic marching band jackets and a white leotard trimmed in sequins styled with ultra tailored sailor’s coat.
With the show full of soft pinks, creamy whites and shades of pale grey, there was a calmness and lightness expressed aesthetically.
As the models returned to their sleeping beauty state, the show concluded as soft and sweet as it began…
