MILAN, Jan 23, 2005 – More elegant than ever the Iceberg man for autumn winter 2005/06 as he mixes and matches simple sartorial classic cut blazers with casual staples for a fresh and stimulating wardrobe.
Looks are inspired by the English gentleman and reworked in color, like tie dyed cardigans and knits with pocket crests sporting the new Iceberg adopted cartoon motif of the season.
Luxury comes in fur collars and lining inside bomber jackets and overcoats, while grandpa’s jacket is run through the wash to give an old made new look making vintage chic today’s new.
Denim jeans are slim fitting and often coloured to give bold touches to a new classic elegant palette for Iceberg. Tone on tone black looks and satin jackets shine for dynamic evenings.
Functional pockets are larger than winter jacket hemlines, and equestrian details like stirrups and snap-hooks are printed on jacket and blazer linings, for a new version of deconstructed sportswear fit for any metropolitan capital.
Sleek and sexy is often hidden under oversized London street inspired looks and leather is used for must have biker pants, rigorous and alluring as well as precise neat scholar like jackets.
Whether it be a need for change or simply a desire to express something different, the Iceberg man next winter is not only eclectic, but innovative and savvy, creating and deconstructing to generate a chic style all of his own.
