DALLAS, Apr 29, 2007/ FW/ --- She can be a snow bunny or an urban dweller. She can be a Grecian goddess in disguise. She goes from downtown to uptown, from tough chic to sportive.
Iceberg’s Fall 2007 collection is so eclectic that it is hard to define the Iceberg woman.
She can be any girl who wears Iceberg; her interests are so varied that she can hop from the Alps to Aspen while skiing, and then go straight to a Broadway opening.
She is at ease quilted nylon ski jackets with big standing collars while at the same time, she can don a fur coat without even blinking an eyelash.
She can be all knotted up in a Grecian-inspired cocktail dress or be in a short jumpsuit just in time for après ski.
Still, she can be this sophisticated lady in red silk mini dress layered over with fur, then prim and proper in her double-breasted coat with a peplum. Then she goes artsy with her tie-dyed ensembles only to shift to those beautiful black dresses in a heartbeat.
She can do tough chic easily, courtesy of the metal buckle embellishments. Seen from coats to day dresses to eveningwear, this seems to be the element that binds the whole collection.
It might be hard to pin down the Iceberg woman, but she can catch everyone’s eyes when she walks in the room!
