NEW YORK, Sep 12, 2004/ FW/ --- Los Angeles sensation, Jeremy Scott, presented an urban collection of Black Knights. It is evident that Knight life is the only life he knows.
Using very basic colors, his designs were full of comfortable chic clothing. Jeremy let us know that the trickle up theory is in full command of all fashion trends.
Besides the most fashionable people knows that urban lifestyles, of high or low social-economic status, lead high fashion in every sense.
Mr. Scott has decided to show us that detail by detail. Bandana dresses, mesh tops, wrestling shorts, hoodies and wife beater dresses stormed the runway on beautiful sun kissed models. The color of the collection was very basic including only black, white, gray and silver.
Show stopping pieces included a metal chain bikini and poncho with hood. Large graphics were printed on tees and culottes’ dresses were made of metal and jersey material.
Female models rocked knee length stiletto boots while male models strolled in slip in sandals. With the hottest braid styles, male models definitely raised the temperature in the tent with sculptured bodies and chiseled faces.
The show carried through many themes that blended many great subcultures in America including: L.A. skate boarder meets N.Y. Boxer/Rap Star. By using models that resembled street trade and beautiful round the way girls, the show had an even more realistic affect.
The entire show was spectacular with great music and atmosphere. Hopefully this young L.A. savvy designer will change the New York state of fashion forever.
