PARIS, Mar 8, 2004/ FW/ --- The Paris season might look very baroque to most, but Karl Lagerfeld wowed his fans and clients for his very own Lagerfeld Gallery with a sporty Victor/Victoria treatment.
Opening the show with an all white snow parka followed by sexy anoraks, the Lagerfeld woman can tackle skiing from St. Moritz to Vail, Colorado.
And when she gets back in the city or just enjoying an après-ski, in her mannish white shirts and woolen pants complete with a tie and long coat.
Some of the pants featured leather panels inlaid at the waist, Karl Lagerfeld’s homage to the western cowboy with a Parisian twist.
As soon as you begin liking ‘Victor,’ ‘Victoria’ appears in her flapper-inspired mini dress and transparent gowns.
Lagerfeld added another twist in this delicious treatment with a logoed belt buckle that would make any cowboy proud, that if they can afford Lagerfeld Gallery.
This is Karl Lagerfeld’s second show for the season, which started in Milan with Fendi, then Lagerfeld Gallery, which was shown Thursday, and Chanel, which was shown last Friday.
In all three, the masterful designer received kudos. Karl Lagerfeld is on a roll, and it shows.
