Keanan Duffty Creates Limited Edition ‘Bowie’ for Target Collection

DALLAS, Jun 5, 2007/ FW/ --- Singer/songwriter turned fashion designer, Keanan Duffty is creating the limited edition ‘Bowie’ for Target Collection for men.

Inspired by the rock ‘n’ roll legend David Bowie, the collection of men’s items, including tuxedo jackets, jeans, dress shirts and rocker tees will be available beginning Oct 15, 2007 through Dec 24, 2007 at most Target stores and online at www.target.com

A graduate of London’s Central Saint Martin, Keanan Duffty’s signature style has always been related to rock ‘n’ roll. In fact, when the British-born designer launched his label ‘Slinky Vagabond’ in 1998, his intention was to bring together his vision of fashion and music.

He showed his first fashion collection in Florence Italy during the same year, and then showed in New York in 2001 and 2002, and again in 2006.

Created with the entire wedding party in mind, the collection had been available online since May 5, 2007. This is Isaac Mizrahi’s first foray into bridal design, which include bridal gowns, bridesmaid’s dresses and men’s accessory.

The Isaac Mizrahi for Target wedding collection defines affordable luxury, incorporating sophisticated elegance with just the right touch of glamour into classic silhouettes. Ranging in price from $9.99 - $159.99, Mizrahi drew inspiration for the collection from his first foray into the fashion world, which centered on creating a gown for a high-profile wedding.
