DALLAS, Mar 30, 2003/ FW/ --- Founded by Ada Masotti in 1954, La Perla started as a corsetry laboratory in Bologna.

In 50 years, it has evolved into La Perla Group, manufacturer and marketer of a full line of men and women clothing.

Still best known for its lingerie and swimwear collections, Alberto Masotti, the son of Ada has turned the company into a multinational corporation with exclusive subsidiaries in Germany, France, Spain and the U.S.

Keeping its tradition innovations combined with a detailed knowledge of the woman’s body, La Perla continues its perpetual search for the highest quality materials and designs for its products.

With a particular attention to image and communication, the company spearheads the development of new products and designs for undergarments and outerwear.
