PARIS, Jan 28, 2006/ FW/ --- Ignoring all the trends that have surface this season, Marc Jacobs opted for a strictly Louis Vuitton collection, highlighting the label’s strengths making sure that LV fans to it come fall.

Hooded fur jackets, down-filled vests and outerwear with fur peaking at the collar, varsity bomber jackets line with fur inside, cable knit sweaters zipped at the front and ear muffs with the Louis Vuitton monograms pretty much said the fashion statement from Jacobs for Fall 2006.

Of course, the tote bags, shoes and small leather are all there, including the belts that were sometimes worn outside a coat jacket.

Wide lapels on double breasted coats and faux turtleneck collars in shirts sometimes made an appearance.

It was strictly Louis Vuitton – luxurious and monogrammed.
