Paris Menswear Show Fall 2005
Marcel Marongiu: The Full Look of Marcel Marongiu
By: Contributing Writer
PARIS, Feb 3, 2005/ FW/ --- Marcel Marongiu presented a thoroughly complete collection in Paris for his men’s Fall 2005 – Winter 2006 season. This collection is bound to make buyers happy as it is destined to attract more consumers to the designer’s name, which is rapidly rising in the world of men’s fashion.
The collection has a mix of baggy and slim pants. This essentially covers the needs of all men regardless of personal style or humor.
The sweaters in this collection are the best seen on the Paris runways this week. Marongiu’s are gorgeous and appear in a wide variety of somber colors. My personal favorite is a bi-color one.
The jacket in his double-breasted suit has a sailor’s feel to it. Although it is strong in masculinity, it is also one of the most stylish that I have seen this season.
His ¾ length leather coat is exquisite, while his leather vest appears to be soft enough to sleep on after a long day’s work.
A very dark rose is one of the dominating colors in the latter part of this collection, and Marongiu did some most notable things with it too. His suit, followed by a redingote both in this dark rose is perfect to add some color into the streets and offices of a cold and gray winter’s morning
