MILAN, Jan 24, 2005/ FW/ --- Missoni is taken us on a nostalgic journey with their 70’s prints and styles.
Retro floral print sweater vests styled on top of floral print shirts in muted psychedelic colours is the look for next season. Flare leg trousers and selected denims looked superb with button cardigans and capes.
The man cape is the flavor of the season seen in brown with blue stripes and large floral prints draped across the bodice. This man shawl is a retro display of Woodstock and post-war Vietnam days.
Slim tailored suits in grey check and navy were sensible day wear items for work. Trousers were accessorized with vintage tassels at the waist.
Deep red and baby blue sweaters were knits that were covered in the signature Missoni print and 70’s star, flower and stripe motifs.
Woven macramé low hung messenger bags were reverted into a stylish item again. Wide brim hats with large tassels in green and burgundy looked great on long haired models.
The untamed unshaven model was the look for Missoni in retrospect of the easy going time.
With sticking to their deep vintage ties, Missoni will continue to be classically timeless.
