PARIS, Feb 15, 2005/ FW/--- The Moritz Rogosky Fall 2005 -Winter 2006 collection features coats with large pockets sewn visibly onto the outer side of the coats and jackets.
This is directly in line with the trends that we have been seeing in men’s collection from the
Paris runways.
The pockets in the collection are both functional and decorative. Rogosky’s coats come in a variety of colors and fabrics.
The designer has also been playing around with - and quite successfully at it too - semi-wrap shirts and sweaters. The pants from this collection are pencil-thin and have short zippers at the crouch.
As for colours, checks, plaids and mini-checks distinguish this collection. They appear everywhere in from his pants to shirts, to his coats, to his jackets and windbreakers.
As for accesories, look for double belts for a decorative touch, scarves and sleek gloves which are good for both day and evening wear. The scarves in this collection are particularly interesting, as they are actually takes on belts.
Some scarves have buttons running the entire length of the fabric. It gives a more fashionable look to something that is a necessity, yet rarely stylish.
