Moschino Moschino MILAN, Jun 28, 2001/ --- In a Milan warehouse Thursday, Moschino presented a fun menswear collection for globetrotters, with clothes influenced by cultures around the world.

Moschino's invitation, in the form of a free plane voucher in the "highest" class, lists twenty destinations the ticket will take you-Cairo, Kyoto, Bali, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, New York, Marrakesh and Rome among them-and thoughtfully reminds you that "carry on luggage should be no larger than the aircraft itself."

The lights come up with the sound of a plane about to take off and the models head out to an asphalt road, going to who knows where.

There are kaftan-like outfits, capes befitting of a Spanish bullfighter, Japanese prints, a large beaded Native American necklace on a suit-wearing model, and strips of beautiful ethnic fabrics slapped on otherwise ordinary suits. The show wrapped up in black, with tuxedo-like pants and flowing shirts.

While flourishes abounded, underneath it all, Moschino presented a quite wearable collection, with well-tailored suits and inventive touches.
