Moschino DALLAS, Aug 25, 2006/ FW/ --- After watching ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ every young woman starting a career is looking at her wardrobe to check whether she made the mark as the ‘IT’ girl at work when it comes to clothes.

Look no further because Moschino got the goods for you and it will pass muster even if the ‘The Devil Wears Dockers.’

Inspired by the Highlands and the Elizabethan period, Moschino proposes romantic highland looks for the metro girl this fall.

Beginning with the coats, there are several styles to choose from. For starters, there is the reworked riding coat that reaches just below the knee. High collared with a removable shoulder cape added, it’s two coats in one!

Then, there is the cape itself, which was retrofitted with a baby collar and ribbon. Worn with a pink shift dress that, it’s feminine and dainty.

There is another reworked version of the cape, made to look like an outer coat. Cut wide like a tent, lapels of the collar were adorned with plaid fabric for texture; it can be worn with almost everything in your wardrobe.

Moschino’s day dresses do not necessarily fall into the normal ‘working girls’ category. Still, they are beautiful pieces and stay within the corporate standards of dressing for work.

Take the pinstripe skort for instance. Paired with a plaid blouse and a knit blue vest, then layered with a plaid military style jacket, it is a fashion statement without breaking any office rules for dressing.

The plaid dress with a taut bodice and fitted box pleats that flares gently after the hip line is another good one to have. Wear it with a snug fitting knit cardigan and you’re ready to go outside to enjoy the cool fall weather.

Trousers are cut wide and relaxed. There are several styles of blouses that you can wear with it. There is the Elizabethan collar with a necktie bow, or the simple long sleeve blouse with a baby collar.

You can mix and match the coats too, from the capelet to the suit jacket. In fact, you can even wear suspenders if you like mannish clothing.

Moschino even thought of the after hours, creating tube dresses inspired by the kilt, floor length frocks with a deep V collar and taut bodice, to tuxedo pants with cummerbund belts and Elizabethan blouses.
