MILAN, Jun 25, 2003 /FW/ --- In an electic mix that perhaps only Moschino can
get away with, the spring summer collection for 2004 is a tribute to
the years past in fashion as Moschino will celebrate its 20th
anniversary in two months time.
50s mod, 60s geometry, 70s Teddy Boy slim and with attitude equipped
with crests and banana hairdos, punk studding with platform shoes and
last but not least the 1980s.
Long sleeve shirts rolled up to the elbow with the jackets, bowling
shirts and grandpa polo?s made trendy, ironic writing on t-shirts and
simple jackets, an explosion of stripes, horizontal and vertical on
pants, jackets, shirts and socks in a rainbow of colour.
Accessories that range from extra long ties slung around the neck in a
foulard fashion, black rimmed spectacles and neckties similar to those
from the west while socks become a statement due to the shortness of
trouser lengths.
A soundtrack that ranged from the 70s and 80s fitted with the clothes
as they moved with nonchalance, reinterpreted and ready for a summer of
colour and sense of freedom to be ones self.
