MILAN, Jan 19, 2005/ FW/ --- Ozwald Boateng naturally designs suits for the man of today. With his bespoke tailoring roots and love of vibrant rich colour, every season you can expect dynamic garments.
Showcasing his signature electric purple and introducing a mixture of lavenders, the ultra tailored suits vibrantly jumped from the runway. With the introduction of icy white, cerulean blue and rich hues of black, the Boateng man is ready for every occasion.
Boateng's interpretation of the tuxedo included a shawl collar with a single button jacket in a variety of fabric combinations. Overcoats were made with soft leather hides and pony skin. A show stopping piece was the leather red-wine parka.
Accessories included the introduction of a variety of bespoke shoes which were the perfect mixture of pointy, but elegant for a man.
These shoes looked great in black teamed with indigo jeans. The indigo jeans were styled with sumptuous wool and kid mohair jumpers and knits.
His impeccable tailored trousers with shaped side-seams are new introductions this year. For the finale these trousers were styled with colorful tailored men’s shirts.
Like every season, Ozwald stole the show by wearing a wonderful interpretation of a tuxedo tail coat which had a hot pink lining. As he graced the catwalk with his charm and coolness, the show concluded.
