MILAN, Jun 30, 2004/ FW/ --- Fresh from receiving her 2004 CFDA International Designer Award, Miuccia Prada presented another trendsetting collection that will surely be a commercial hit come Spring 2005. Her message this season – color!
Starting with the tone on tone olive suit worn with a yellow tie, to the more provocative red long sleeve shirt embellished with gold lavender and chocolate brown print, the Prada gentleman will be seen next spring.
If he struts like a peacock, don’t be surprised. The multi-hued alligator loafers and yellow on white runners will give them spring on their feet.
The must have accessory – hats in different shapes and colors. The Prada man is not the boy next door; he is the guy who lives in a far away street that you’ve been dreaming about since high school.
And as if the clothes are not enough to make one drool, Miuccia decided to bring the collection another notch higher by sending those beautiful totes and bags. The most eye-catching is the snakeskin carryall in blue, purple and beige.
Miuccia did not forget Prada’s loyal clientele though. For those who lean on the conservative side, she put together lightweight suits in grey, pale blue and khaki.
