PARIS, Jul 3, 2003/ FW/ --- Deep down in the forest
Old oak trees hang with clusters of mistletoe
Copses of poplars tower into the azure sky
A fait breeze carries the song of birds calling softly in the gathering
twilight
A table is spread with ripe red fruit
Sparkling gold wine and sweet minted tea
The sun falls lowly on the horizon
In the lonely hours dividing day from night
Out of the mist rise strange spirits
Flowing in robes, and hoods, and quilted pants
Bodies painted in silver birch and copper
A living tableau amid the brushy woods
Frosty mint, creamy apricot, beige and white
The drones shimmer in the dying light
Blending with the four elements
Intertwining symbols amid the sacred branches
Thoughts turn towards the spiritual journey
Mysticism, meditation, purity, wisdom
Where deep down in yon forest
May the circle be ever unbroken
"A man cannot live intensely except at the loss of self"
