Richard Tyler: Chic Sky Miles at Delta

NEW YORK, Feb 4, 2005/ FW/ – Australian born Richard Tyler is spreading his wings. Literally.

Unveiling the new uniforms for Delta Airlines ground and flight crew for both men and women, alternating it with his Richard Tyler Couture Autumn / Winter 2005/06 collection, tailored and structured were mixed with fluid and flowing silhouettes.

Splitting the show into four sections, alternating between commissioned design functional viability and design interpretation for his signature clientele.

Sapphire, burnt amber and chocolate full length jersey dresses hug slim female silhouettes that exhale sensuality while tailored jackets pull at the waist in oatmeal with pencil skirts that split at the rear.

Tyler’s attention to detail is transported even to his uniforms for both men and women. Stewards are dressed in flat fronted trousers, double breasted jackets and warm overcoats that have fur trimmed hoods for a touch of luxury.

Red trim follows the silhouette on sleeveless wrap aprons and ribbon detail is used on double-breasted jackets.

Full length elegance graces the catwalk in a series of all season round party dresses. A hand tucked silk tulle strapless gown with beaded detail and hand pleated goddess dress are in light pale colors like the peach silk organza gown and also the asymmetrical cut out dress.

Between sexy exposed Los Angeles style backs and oozing feminine sensuality. Richard Tyler manages to find fun contrast through Delta Airlines and give a full-hearted applauded show.
