Famous for his "money dress" which he showed during the Fall 2001 season, Russell Sage has
been described as an "edgy romantic."
A specialist in cross-media collaborations, Sage bring vintage clothes to a higher level.
He "recycles" antique textiles in combination with high-tech fabrics.
His use of elaborate stitching and embroidery gives his creations a haute couture feel,
though they remain urban in their looks.
Sage who is a former antique dealer, also works as creative consultant for Amnesty
International in between designing his collections.
