MILAN, Jan 24, 2005/ FW/ --- This season Ferragamo is using a selection of luxury fabrics and animal skins along with 60’s silhouettes to create a strong and aggressive collection.
The presentation began by showcasing brindled ponyskin coats and riding boots in chocolate and black. These impeccable car coats also came in black kangaroo and hand-coloured pythons. Cropped mink looked like combed velvet along with sable and fox fur that were on these well tailored coats.
For this working metropolitan man, jacquard ties with sport dots and stripes will definitely give the Ferragamo man a classic but fashion forward look underneath his fine woolen check suits. Simple rounded leather shoes will make him stand out in mahogany and black. The hand cured hides and visible stitching will make the business shoe become glam. .
Ferragamo light touches of colour extended to his country elegance of hunting and fishing. Pullovers and cardigans with large stitched weaves are in red, mountain white and black. For the man who loves to travel, champagne coloured quilted jackets will be his pick. Other jackets were in moss green and tones of lime. With an urban chicness, warm aviator and bomber jackets had removable fox-trimmed hoods.
Reporter, messenger and tote bags were in ponyskin and Argentinean fox fur. These bags were in the same luxurious tones and fabrics as the perfectly sculptured riding boots and business shoes. These bags came in a variety of sizes from medium to maxi. Other mentionable accessories included tweed angling hats with a coconut finish.
From the luxurious outdoors to the concrete of the city, the Ferragamo man will impress all in any environment.
