MILAN, Sep 26, 2005/ FW/ --- While others see summer as a time of openness, Graeme Black, designing for Salvatore Ferragamo proposes that the ladies remain mysterious with his delectable black and white ensembles.
Slim pants in black paired with tailored tops in white embellished with flat black piping on the collar and placket or minis in black with slim fitting pullover sweaters cinched at the waist with a black belt, the Salvatore Ferragamo lady looks self-assured in these new metro looks.
She’s mysterious yet urbane, she’s strong yet very feminine especially with the wavy ruffles or wavy zigzag prints. She can be in New York or in a yacht in the middle of the Mediterranean looking hip and cool in her black & white skorts or an all black lace mini.
For Graeme Black, the female form reigns supreme as he emphasized the shoulders with his sleeves tops and put the waist in its natural place, highlighting it with thin belts or thin ribbon sashes.
And, where did all the colors go? It’s on the handbags and shoes that are wonderfully bright and floral with an African motif. You did not think that Black would forget the colors, did you?
Black who is very aware that Salvatore Ferragamo’s bread and butter for its business are shoes and handbags made sure that all the ladies will make sure that they get the latest accessories from their all-time favorite.
