Véronique Leroy PARIS, Oct 10, 2003/ FW/ --- This afternoon in Paris, the Musee d’Art Moderne became a ‘jungle gym,’ fashion’s interpretation of a construction site, with models hanging on to pipes and standing on plywood to show Veronique Leroy’s Spring / Summer 2004 collection.

Gym clothes in color blocks of red, gray, blue and yellow, gave no excuse for those of us who had always planned to go work out, but complain that there are no decent gym clothes around.

Veronique Leroy made working out fashionable and stylish. And if she had her way, Leroy would make the female gym denizens to be sexy and alluring too, though they might be sweating from working out.

The designer did not forget street clothes either. Models wearing low-rise pants with matching jackets were also sent on the ‘makeshift construction site.’

Leroy even made sure that the ladies could go straight from the gym to work, with her matching skirts and suits.

And if you have plans to go to dinner or clubbing after working out, Leroy created mini dresses just for you.
