MILAN, Jan 19, 2005/ FW/ --- Set in a parking garage near Porta Venezia, the Victoria Grantham got off to a very interesting start.
Starting the show with models wearing David Bowie inspired tight jeans tucked into American riding boots, gave the collection a very British appeal. Tailored blazers and crisp white shirts is how Grantham sees her men.
Turtle neck parka capes and extreme round toe shoes gave the collection a particular style of its own. Blue velvet and tweed suits were very dressy, but basic.
Leopard and zebra print shirts were layered under leather bomber jackets. Navy blue English wool blazers and peacoats along with black camel coats were key items for the collection.
Large handbags were introduced in brown and tan leather. The vintage tennis bag will be functional and stylish next season. Her incrusted VGS logo cape in khaki will turn heads as you walk down the high street.
The collection was very stylish for a very English man…..
