Walter Rodrigues Spring 2004: Hot Latin Nights

PARIS, Oct 13, 2003/ FW/ --- To the beat of Gloria Estefan’s greatest hits, Walter Rodrigues’ Spring / Summer 2004 collection opened.

Sexy, alluring and hot, it was almost a homage to the Queen of Salsa and hot Miami nights. You can actually imagine Gloria Estefan wearing the clothes.

The collection was pure yellow, as in the sun, with splashes of pink and gold lamé. Flowing and feminine, there was no doubt about it – the Walter Rodrigues woman was out to party all day and all night during the summer.

Be it at a beach house or a yacht, or even in Miami’s South Beach, the Walter Rodrigues woman is ready for action.

To create volume on the diaphanous material, the designer used draping and ruching, giving shape to the garment.

Shoulders were emphasized with the one-shouldered ensembles and halter-tops.

A fun collection all in all, though the yellow became repetitive after a while.
