NEW YORK, Oct 16, 2011/ — Contemporary Menswear brand scott james combines Italian sensitivity with American ease at their very first popup store in New York City, opening October 27.

The store, located at 20 East 1st Street, in the heart of the Bowery District, will host the Fall/Winter collections of the first “Ameripean” brand. The store will be set to resemble the designer’s studio, where American designer Scott James Kuhlman can meet with cl ients and share tips on his vision of contemporary menswear style.

The décor of the store has a rustic industrial feel; with raw wooden tables and shelves paired with vintage metal stools. Pops of orange in the carpet tiles and dressing room curtains reflect the image of the brand, in line with the orange dot over the “j” in the scott james logo.

The sawhorse-like cash wrap and orange and off-white striped couch add a rugged homey touch while inviting customers to have a pleasant interaction with the brand, as opposed to a mere transaction.

In addition to a personalized experience, customers can enjoy stylish pieces at competitive prices. Shirts ranging from $ 98 to $ 110 layer well with lush cashmere sweaters and lightweight knits for $ 295. Outwear pieces around $ 225-295 and pants at $ 98-110 allow scott james to fill the contemporary man’s total look needs, while leaving room for them to explore their own individual style.

The scott james store will be open Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 7 PM, Saturdays from 11 AMto 6 PM and Sundays from noon to 5 PM through January 2012.
