Tommy Hilfiger Goes To The Outback
Company Launches Men's Sportswear in Australia
Jan 15, 2003/ FW/ --- Pretty soon, the Australian outback will be sporting Tommy Hilfiger's
famous red, white and blue logo.
In an announcement Tuesday, Tommy Hilfiger Licensing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Tommy
Hilfiger Corporation confirmed a new licensing agreement with Tommy Hilfiger Australia Pty Ltd.
for the distribution of men's sportswear in Australia.
Through the exclusive multi-year agreement, the Tommy Hilfiger men's sportswear collection
will be available at retail in leading department stores across the continent, beginning July 2003.
Tommy Hilfiger Australia Pty Ltd. is a division of Muzza Clothing Co. Pty Ltd.
Muzza Clothing Co. Pty Ltd. has operated the Blazer menswear business, one of Australia's
leading men's sportswear companies, since 1987.
"Tommy Hilfiger enjoys immediate recognition in Australia. We are delighted to be working with
