New Appointments at Haggar
DALLAS, Apr 10, 2006/ --- Haggar Clothing Co., a leading marketer of men’s and women’s apparel named Edward M. Jones III as President and Creative Direvtor of its women’s wear division and David Yarbrough as President of Menswear Sales.
In his new position, Mr. Jones will be responsible for all operations of the company's women's apparel subsidiary. Jones will report to Jim Lewis, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to joining Haggar, Jones was the CEO and Chairman of GM Design Group Ltd., a bridge women's sportswear company and, since 1988, Chairman of Jones Texas Inc., a firm that specializes in brand positioning, strategic planning, and product development.
Over the years, Jones has made an important impact on the apparel industry. One of his most notable achievements was the re- positioning, revitalization and expansion of the Sigrid Olsen brand, culminating in a record valuation and sale to Liz Claiborne Inc. Among other significant accomplishments, Jones served as the chief architect behind the strategic segmentation of the Perry Ellis brand.

As President of Menswear Sales, David Yarbrough will be responsible for sales of all brands in the Haggar portfolio, including Haggar, Kenneth Cole Reaction, Kenneth Cole Unlisted, Claiborne, and the company's private brands. Yarbrough will report to Jim Lewis, Haggar President and Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to joining Haggar, Yarbrough was Executive Vice President of Perry Ellis International, where he was responsible for operations, sales, merchandising, and sourcing for Tropical Sportswear. Yarbrough also oversaw the acquisition, transition and merger of Tropical Sportswear into Perry Ellis International.
Previous to Perry Ellis, Yarbrough was Senior Vice President of the Private Brand division at Haggar, where he had contributed to substantial growth in the company's private brand business. He also served as President of Sales, B.U.M. Equipment U.S.A.
