Cooler Weather Puts A Chill Into Retail Sales Monthly Comparisons, According to NRF
WASHINGTON, DC, Mar 14, 2006 / – While month-to-month comparisons were tough on retailers, the cooler weather did not hamper year-over-year gains. According to the National Retail Federation (NRF), retail industry sales for February (which exclude automobiles, gas stations, and restaurants) rose a solid 7.2 % over last year and decreased 0.4 percent seasonally adjusted over January.

Revlon Posts 39% Increase in Net Earnings for Fourth Quarter
LOS ANGELES, Mar 1, 2006/ --- Revlon roll out of two new strategic brand initiatives during the fourth quarter of 2005 turned out to be very successful, helping to increase its net earnings for the period to $64 million, a 39% increase from $46 million in the fourth quarter of 2004.
