Online Clothing & Accessories Sales Reach $18.3 Billion in 2006
DALLAS, May 14, 2007 / FW/ --- In 2006, Americans spent $18.3 billion online to purchase apparel, accessories and footwear according to a survey conducted by Forrester Research for Shop.org and for 2007, it is projected to reach $22.1 billion, with 10% of all clothing sales expected to occur online.

April Sales Mixed Due to Gas Prices, Weather and Early Easter, According to NRF
WASHINGTON DC, May 11, 2007 / --- As expected, April retail sales showed subdued gains due to extreme weather, rising gas prices and an early Easter. According to the National Retail Federation, retail industry sales for April (which exclude automobiles, gas stations, and restaurants) rose 2.6 percent unadjusted over last year and decreased 0.5 percent seasonally adjusted from March.
