Nordstrom at Fashion Centre Mall, Washington D.C.

DALLAS, Oct 15, 1999/ FW/ ---Washington D.C. was founded in 1790 and designed by Major Pierre Charles L'Enfant around 1791. It was the first American city planned for a specific purpose. When the founding fathers planned the city, they wanted it to be the seat of the U.S. government and be the nation's capital. After 200 years, their vision has remained intact with an addition. Washington D.C. also became a shopping capital!

One of the more popular shopping centers at the Metro Washington D.C. area is Fashion Center at Pentagon City. It has four levels of light-filled shopping with more than 160 specialty stores. One of its anchors is Nordstrom.
