NEW YORK, Nov 30, 1999/ FW/ --- The year is 1999, the last year of the 20th century and the last year of the second millennium.
The millennium theme is very popular this Christmas for obvious reasons. After all, this is the first time that the world
will observe the change of a millennia globally.

Disco balls as Christmas balls! Ingenious! Three mannequins dressed to the hilt, going to a millenium party. After all, the whole world is celebrating!
Liz Claiborne
At the eve of the start of the new millennium, New York dressed up! Store windows were no different. The recurring theme of a Millennium party could be seen everywhere. And the Liz Claiborne window is no exception. A group of male and female sculpted head mannequins in a party atmosphere was created in this store window. Elements used were confetti and balls.
Christmas Gifts Tree by Liz Claiborne
Twelve days of Christmas Liz Claiborne style! They created a Christmas tree with it! Each tier of the tree represents a merchandise from hair accessories to gift certificates. Effective advertising.
Swatch
How do you display watches in a window? Swatch took a "Magic Show" scene, showing hands wearing Swatch Watches of course! It is also a Millenium Party, as you cannot help but notice the disco ball and the festive atmosphere. "Last Swatch Collection for the Millennium" said the sign. Around it are "hands" holding it.
