DALLAS, Feb 13, 2008 / FW/ — Stefanelli and Daniele Ghiselli are relatively newcomers to the Milan fashion scene though they had been showing for sometime already. Mostly unknown to the American public, these two designers who create collections under their own lines are part of the edgy and fashion forward crowd who titillate the imagination of their audience with their artistic and very wearable creations.
Stefanelli theme of ‘What is Green?’ is already mysterious at first glance. With the answer ‘the grass is green with a big tree in-between’ one cannot assume that the collection is about the green initiative, though it is a probability. The question ‘what is green?’ can be about a lot of things, especially with the very poetic answer.
Daniele Ghiselli’s ‘Koto Bolofo’ collection is more straightforward with the ‘Made in Italy women’s winter 2009 collection’ written under the title. Yet, in its simplicity, it is also baffling because Daniele Ghiselli always thinks things out.
