CNC Costume NationalMILAN, Feb 22, 2008 / FW/ — Millenial, the term demographers use to describe the internet generation who comes of age this year (they turn 18 and begin to join the work force). They’re a ‘plug and play’ age group, courtesy of the PC, the Mac, and the gaming consoles. And Ennio Capasa has his finger on this generation’s pulse as he proposed ultra-modern silhouettes with elements of techno and street for Fall 2008.

With classic looks as the template, Ennio Capasa reworked the shapes and came up with silhouettes that are futuristic without looking sci-fi. The trench coat was transformed into a jacket with asymmetrical hemline and tulip sleeves. Extra wide collar and off-center zipped placket, it’s a new look for a new generation.

A sophisticated mix of textures and fabrics by using wool and fur, woven and printed silk, Prince of Wales checks and tartan, organza and georgette, Ennio Capasa is never stingy when it comes to using to best fabric available.

Though C’N’C Costume National will remain Capasa’s youthful line, the hallway fashionista that the label was originally created for had grown up, and Ennio Capasa made sure that the label kept up with its core clientele.
