Todd Oldham Teams Up With Target

DALLAS, Sep 7, 2001/ FW/ --- Discount retail giant Target has signed a partnership agreement with American designer Todd Oldham to create an exclusive line of home merchandise.

Known for his colorful clothes, featuring extravagant prints and multicolored patterns, and for his lively "TODD TIME" segment on MTV's "House of Style," Oldham will develop the line over the next year. The debut collection will arrive in Target's 1,019 stores in summer 2002.

"The partnership with Todd Oldham exemplifies Target's commitment to product innovation and making good design affordable," said Target president Gregg Steinhafel.

Oldham is in good company at Target. Renowned artists like architect Micheal Graves and designer Philippe Starck have also signed partnership agreements with the chain.
