It's goal, to help it's customers help children right in their own community by making the day a fundraiser to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities and children's causes worldwide.

Superstar, Justin Timberlake, says this is a perfect opportunity to help children in need.

"If you could bring comfort to a sick child, or buy books or musical instruments for struggling schools, or even help save a newborn baby's life, would you? Well, you can make a difference by being part of world children's day on Nov 20th. Take time out to help a child in need," Timberlake said.

Here in the U.S. World Children's Day will be celebrated at McDonald's from this Thursday through Sunday, November 23rd.
